Press Release Body =

Many companies in the world use DECT systems to give freedom of movement to their
employees. DECT systems are rather obsolete nowadays but play an important and
stable role on the PBX market.
The Mobility Extension - a product manufactured exclusively by 2N Telekomunikace -
is an ideal replacement for all DECT systems as it can eliminate major DECT
disadvantages including:
. a high HW investment;
. a limited reach of the system (up to hundreds of meters);
. the necessity to carry around two telephones (DECT and GSM mobile) and maintain
two phone books (in DECT and in mobile);
. limited DECT extension functions.

The Mobility Extension is a device whose function is based on the fact that GSM
providers worldwide introduce SIM card VPNs (close user groups) where users in a
group call for free. This situation has called for replacement of DECT phones by
standard GSM telephones. However, standard mobile telephones lack comfortable
services. To solve this problem, connect the Mobility Extension to your PBX (it is
basically compatible with any PBX) and get above-standard extension functions to
your GSM telephone. The running cost of the Mobility Extension is very low (almost
zero), which means that there are only benefits compared to standard DECT systems.
2N Telekomunikace also supplies a new generation of PBXs (NetStar and Omega), which
support all interfaces: analog, BRI, PRI (E1), and VoIP. Thanks to inbuilt GSM
gateways, these PBXs have the Mobility Extension feature in the basic configuration.
This is considered one of the main unique selling points of these PBXs in the 2N
portfolio.
